Very beautiful, pearl grey, "girly", vintage, mini dress, designed by Jean Varon (John Bates) in A-line. Short set-in sleeves, slightly puffed. Draped Victorian collar, zipper in the back.
Matching, handmade, pink/rose as a corsage, attached to the dress.

Jean Varon is the artist name of John Bates well known designer of the UK from the 60s until the eighties. Though he was inventor of the mini skirt his fellow designer Mary Quant took the credits. He is also known for designing the costumes for the heroine Emma Peel in the wellknown British serie 'The Avengers' in the 60s Especiallly welknown are her black leather cat suits.
