Circular skirt in 'Sarah Moon' style, flowerprint with contrast black ruffle in seersucker. Black satin ribbon with a bow.

Jean Varon is the artist name of John Bates well known designer of the UK from the 60s until the eighties. Though he was inventor of the mini skirt his fellow designer Mary Quant took the credits. He is also known for designing the costumes for the heroine Emma Peel in the wellknown British serie 'The Avengers' in the 60s Especiallly welknown are her black leather cat suits.
