Beautiful, 80s vintage, half hoop clip-on earrings, designed by Christian Dior.
Gold plated with 18 gems in round, brilliant cut, in bead setting.
CD initials on the turn of the earrings, Made in Germany.
In 1946 Christian Dior opened 'Maison Dior" in Paris.
It was not until 1950 that Dior began to make costume jewelry to match his clothing collection.
Always well made, Dior has been one of the most succesful couture companies to this day.
